Thrift Shop

The Thrift Shop of the Community Church of Cedar Grove will be open for business on Thursdays from 10am to 3pm and also Saturdays from 10am to 12:30pm.  Donations are accepted during shop hours.  For more information, call 857-2762 during shop hours.

An outreach of Community Church for more than 25 years, the Thrift Shop serves the needs of the community and generates much needed income for the church.

In March we will be starting our annual half-price sale on clothing.  What was a bargain $3.00 and up now becomes even better at $1.50 and up.  Knick-knacks, glassware and other items remain at our usual low price.

Beginning in April we will be accepting summer clothing in good, clean condition.  While we appreciate all donations, please remember that is it is out of style, stained or ripped, we can't sell it.

The Thrift Shop at Community Church of Cedar Grove will be open in June and July and closed in August.  In June, hours are Thursday 10 – 3; Saturday 10 – 12:30 pm.   In July, hours will be 10 – 1 pm on Thursday; closed on Saturday.  The Shop will reopen September with regular store hours.  For information about Thursday Thrift Shop, contact Janet Spong. Presently there is a nice selection of ladies and men’s summer clothing as well as jewelry, bags, scarves and shoes.  There is a large selection of glass serving dishes and picture frames at very reasonable prices.  Stop in and browse through our large selection of household items.  The shop is accepting clean, summer clothing until the end of June.  Tax donation receipts are available to donors wish to take advantage of them.

All proceeds from the sale of merchandise are used to support the programs and missions work of Community Church of Cedar Grove. The Shop is located at the side of the church parking lot behind Community Church at 65 Bowden Road. Entrance to the lot is off Sherman Avenue.
